"We joined The Spiritans nearly 6 months ago. We are the first group of Spiritan aspirants in Vietnam. There are 12 in our group. Everyone has a different character but we are living together in harmony with each other. Besides our English study, we also do apostolic work. Most of us go to visit and help the orphans, the disabled children or the street kids. Other teach catechism in Tan Hoa parish or have other works according to their abilities."

In 2008, the Spiritans in Vietnam started receiving and preparing candidates to the Spiritan Life in that country. In the beginning of 2009, the first group of spiritan aspirants in Vietnam started their newsletter. It's name is "hope" and that's exactly what it brings. Here, by the well, we bring it's contents to you, so that you can meet this young community in Asia. As a confrere from one of the oldest Spiritan provinces of Europe wrote somewhere: the sun sets in the west, but rises in the east!
